I shoot a lot of weddings for a local studio which has been fantastic for the experience but the downside is not being able to get to know the brides and grooms very well prior to their wedding. However, last month, I was asked to shoot the engagement session as well as the wedding (which, by the way, is tomorrow). Laura + Tyler were so easy to work with as they seemed immediately comfortable in front of the camera which is perhaps because they are so comfortable just being with each other.

Saving the best for last… Tyler, you’re looking rather dreamy here and, Laura, could you be any more in love?

It was wonderful getting to know Laura + Tyler and I can’t wait to see how fabulous they look tomorrow at their Columbine Unity Church wedding and Omni Interlocken Hotel reception.

She’s a librarian. He’s a musician. She’s organized. He’s spontaneous. But when it comes down to the essentials, they see eye to eye (even though he towers over her!).

I had the great pleasure to hang out with Rosemary and Rob on a beautiful sunny Sunday in March and they were game for whatever I suggested.

Rob’s instrument of choice is the trombone which he plays in both a jazz and a funk band. I’ve always wanted to be in a band but I think that ship has sailed. Even more than that, I’ve always wanted to be a photographer (well, since high school anyway) and I’m finally living that dream.

What a beautiful couple! I love my job.
